Good Conduct Certificate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A letter from the applicant stating the reason for requesting the certificate.
  • A photocopy of the first four (4) pages of the applicant's passport.
  • Two (2) passport photos (must be MATTE finish, dark blue background,1.5" x 2.5")
  • A photocopy of each previously-held Bahraini residence permit.
  • A set of fingerprints from local police in the country of applicant's current residence.
  • A completed application form
  • US$3 in cash (checks and bank drafts are not accepted)

Please send us an extra set of copies.



Send all documents and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the Embassy through the US Postal Service (Express or Priority Mail). If you choose to use another service for the return of your documents, such as FedEx or DHL

Please make sure that your name and address appear in both the sender and the recipient fields of the prepaid airbill.


Please note: All the above criteria must be met in order for the Embassy to issue a Certificate of Good Conduct.

* Certificates are not issued to holders of visitor visas.

Any person, however, may be issued a Certificate of Good Conduct provided he or she holds a valid residence permit or if the applicant lived in Bahrain for more than six months on a valid residence permit.

The certificate will take 12-16 weeks to process.
